Next week In Reception (28th November)

Our Topic:  We will be preparing for Christmas and the show.

Read Write Inc:

·        Letters/Sounds we will be learning are g/o/c/k

·        We will also be learning how to write these letters with the correct formation.

·        This week’s simple cvc words are:

     gap,dig,got,dog,on,not,top,got,cat,cot,can,cap,kit,back,key,sack

Reading books:

Please sign reading record books and send the children’s reading pack into school on a daily basis.

Maths:

This week will be reinforcing childrenʼs knowledge of spoken numbers and matching written numerals up to 10. They will be ordering numbers, counting on and back from a given number and writing numerals 1 to 10.
